Gebaut von: Gebrüder Stumm (1840)
Demolished (1967)
In 1840 the Gebrüder Stumm placed a two-manual organ with 24 stops in the Sankt Michaelkirche in Homburg. The instrument was extensively rebuilt in 1922 by Franz Kämmerer. He made the action pneumatic with a new freestanding console. The stop list was also altered: the Mixtur of the Hauptwerk was given a different composition, the Krummhorn was replaced by a Clarinette and the Octavbaß 4' of the Pedal by a Cello 8'. The organ was demolished in 1967 and replaced a year later by an entirely new instrument by Hugo Mayer.
