Het orgel in de kerk van Saint Lawrence te Appleby in Westmorland is een oud instrument. Het werd in 1661 gebouwd voor de kathedraal te Carlisle door Roger Preston. Al in 1683 schonk de dean van Carlisle het orgel aan Appleby. In de loop van de tijd is het ingrijpend gewijzigd. De firma Laycock & Bannister voerde in de jaren 1976-1983 een restauratie uit.
