In 1980, the Walker company supplied a chamber organ to Chichester Cathedral. The organ was built to a design by John Birch. It is in fact a large box organ and has no pedal keyboard. The organ was used for the first time on 25 March 1980. In 2006, the organ was overhauled by Martin Cross.
