- In 1959-1960, the Weigle company built a new organ for the St. Stephen's Church in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf-Giebel. Consultants for the construction were Walter Lutz and cantor-organist Gotthold Krämer. Professor W. Tiedje designed the prospect. The organ was dedicated in July 1960.
- In 2014 the organ was restored by Michael Mauch and expanded with four stops. Tilman Trefz re-voiced the instrument. On September 26, 2014, the organ was put back into use.
- The listed specification is the original from 1960.
