Emmelshausen's parish church was built around 1950. Since then, only electronic organs have been used for church music in the church building. In 2000 an organ committee was established. The Vleugels company was commissioned in 2005 to build a pipe organ. The instrument has been given a contemporary design, and is made up of 34 registers, divided over three manuals and pedal. Jacques Gassmann designed the painting of the organ case. The dedication took place on April 1, 2007. On this day there was a festive church service with Franz Leinhäuser as organist. In the afternoon Andreas Unger gave a demonstration of the organ in collaboration with the company Vleugels. An organ concert by Jörg J. Schwab followed at the end of the afternoon.
