The organ of the Stadtkirche in Treysa was originally built in 1724 by Johannes Hoffmann for the monastery church in Obertheres. After the abolition of the monastery in 1806, it was transferred by the organ maker Wilhelm from Kassel to Treysa. The interior has been radically renovated over time. Kandler restored it in 1950. Dieter Nöske later built a almost new organ in the old cases.
