- The Marienkirche in Gleisdorf was built in the years 1743-1745 in stead of the Spitalkirche from 1670. The church was designed by Mathias Gerl. The organ of the Spitalkirche was transferred to the new church. It concerned an instrument by Andreas Schwarz from Graz, dedicated in 1700. Cyriak Werner relocated the instrument in 1746. This organ was replaced by a new instrument in 1774, constructed by Franz Xaver Schwarz. It is assumed that this instrument had seventeen stops on two manuals and pedal. But this is no certain.
- In 1912, a new organ was installed in the organ case of Schwarz by Konrad Hopferwieser. The new organ was installed in the main case, whereas the small positive case was preserved but without speaking pipes. The new organ had twelve stops. But the stops of the second manual were transmission of the first manual, with extensions in the highest octave (f'''-f'''') for the super octave couplers.
- Because there were many problems with the Hopferwieser organ and the fact that the specification was not satisfacting, a new organ was constructed in both historical organ cases in the years 1989-1994 by Georg Jann Orgelbau. The instrument is constructed with mechanical action and slider chests and has fourteen stops.
