The organ case of the organ in the Kilianskirche in Lechenich dates from around 1750, the building time of the church, and was manufactured by an unknown organ maker. That organ, with one manual and attached pedal, had eight stops. In 1880 a new two-manual interior with twenty stops was installed in this organ case by Gebr. Kalscheur from Nörvenich. This instrument had mechanical action and slider chests. In the sixties of the twentieth century, the instrument was virtually unplayable. In 1984-1985, Weimbs built a new interior, using the pipework of sixteen ranks from 1880. The renewed organ was dedicated on February 10, 1985.
