- In 1955 Rudolf von Beckerath completed a new organ for the Friedenskirche in Düsseldorf. It was completely renovated in 2006/2007 by Hans-Ulrich Erbslöh. The original electro-pneumatic stop action was replaced with a entirely electrical action. The work started on June 19, 2006 with the dismantling of the console. The organ was also expanded with a 32' rank on the pedal and three horizontal trumpets. On Whit Monday, May 27, 2007, the organ was re-dedicated
- In 2016 a second console is installed on the church floor. This console four manuals, the lowest keyboard with 88 keys and two synthesizers. The console is connected via a MIDI-connection to the organ. Also Hauptwerk software is installed for extra functionality.
