In 1650, Georg Spette began building a new organ for the Kristine Kyrka in Falun. However, in 1656 the contract was canceled because the work did not go as planned. Frans Boll was commissioned to finish the instrument. Johan Herman Cahman was commissioned in 1697 to completely revise the organ, because it showed many problems. The stated disposition shows the situation after this renovation. In 1720 it was demolished and replaced by an entirely new instrument.
