- In 1935 the firm Maurice Delmotte built an organ for the World Exhibition in Brussels, installed in the Paleiskerk van 't Katholiek Leven on the terrain. The organ was sold after te exhibition to prince Charles (Karel) of Belgium (1903 - 1983). Because the organ of the Sint Pieterskerk in Leuven was destroyed in May 1944 during the Second World War, the Delmotte organ was sold to this church in 1951. It was dedicated on September 2nd, 1951, and Edgard De Laet played the inauguration concert. The organ was installed in Leuven by Delmotte.
- In 2019-2020 the organ has been restored by Verschueren Orgelbouw. They reconstructed the original pitch, which had been changed into half a tone higher in 1951, renewed the electric system, improved the working of the Swell Boxes and enlarged the pedal with three new stops. The re-dedication was on March 7, 2020. Consultant Luc Ponet played the instrument at this occasion, during a concert with Jose Chafer Mompo and Slawomir Cichor (trumpet), Pauline Lebbe (soprano) and the Vocaal Ensemble Reflection conducted by Patrick Windmolders.
