The Himmelfahrtskirche in Dresden-Leuben was built in 1900 in neo-Gothic style. The building was dedicated on May 16, 1901. The Eule company built the organ for the church. The front pipes were requisitioned in 1917. Replacement pipes were not installed until 1935, during a renovation by Eule. In 1954 Eule also carried out an overhaul. The organ was restored in 2005 by Alois Linder.
