- Franz Joseph Frosch built a new organ for the Sankt Peterkirche in Munich in 1806-1809. It is not totally clear how the organ was constructed. The organ had five works, but whether there were also five manuals is the question. The organ was designed by Abbot Vogler. The first manual was a Hauptwerk with a wide scale, the second with a narrow scale. All reeds were placed on the third manual. The fourth manual was equipped with bowing stops, and finally the flute registers ended up on the fifth manual. All manual registers were equipped with separate triggers for bass and treble. The organ was placed entirely in a closed case, the roof of which could be opened or closed by means of a swell step.
- On October 16, 1809, Vogler gave the first concert on the organ, which was completed in 1809. After Vogler's death, the organ was quickly converted. There was a normal front with front pipes, the disposition was radically changed and the mechanics and superstructure were drastically rebuilt. The instrument was lost in 1945 due to bombing.
