During construction, the organ case of Christian Friedrich Göthel (1870-1872) that was present in the church was reused, expanded with a new positive in matching style. Göthel's interior had already been replaced in 1915 by a new Schmeisser organ. On May 27, 2001, the organ was put into use with a special church service, in which Hansjürgen Scholze, organist in Dresden, played the organ.
