- In 1911 a pedal harmonium was installed in the Heiligen Geistkirche (former Spitalkirche) in Mindelheim. The pipe organ was in bad condition and new construction was too expensive. The organ was then decommissioned. This organ was installed as a balustrade organ in 1832 by Joseph Dreher. In 1911 some of the pipework was no longer present. The harmonium was set up on a stage that was placed over the wind chest.
- The remains of the organ were discovered in 1970, after which it was decided to reconstruct it. Rudolf Kubak completed this work in 1974. Most of the pipework is new, as are the mechanics and keyboard. The pedal is attached to the manual from C-c°. There is also an independent Subbaß from C-f'. The pedal coupler also works on the total compass of 30 tones.
