- For the Matthäuskirche in Erlangen, a pipe organ was built by the company Walcker in 1960-1961. Consultant was Friedrich Högner from Munich. Gustav Gsaenger was the architect of the church, and he also designed the organ prospect. The organ is located on the front of the church, on the floor.
- In 2020, the organ has been dismantled. A new organ will be built behind the prospect of Walcker. A part of the pipes of the Walcker organ are stored and will be used for restorations of contemporary Walcker organs in other churches.

- Jörg R. Becker
