In 1866/1867 Walcker built an organ for the Église Saint-Georges in Haguenau, with mechanical action and cone chests. In 1926/1927 the instrument was rebuilt by Roethinger with pneumatic action. The stoplist has also been modified at this time. In 1952 Roethinger electrified the action.
The Walcker interior was demolished in 1986, after which Alfred Kern built a new organ in the old organ case. It was completed in 1987 and much of the old pipework has been reused.
