In 1835 Karl Mauracher built a new organ with twenty stops for the Sankt Laurentiuskirche in Bludenz. The instrument replaced an organ by Johann Georg Allgäuer from 1747. The new organ was replaced in 1875-1876 by a new instrument from the company Gebrüder Mayer. They used the case and a large part of the pipework from 1835 for the construction. Also the wind chest of the Rückpositiv has been taken over from Mauracher. Edmund Hohn overhauled the organ in 1969-1970. The stop list has been changed slightly. Anton Rohrer was consultant during the work.
