The organ in the Klosterkirche in Abenberg was originally built around 1730. The builder is unknown. The organ is located on the westside of the nave, on a gallery ('Nonnenempore'). The organ was relocated to the parish church of Abenberg in 1824, but returned to the Klosterkirche in 1854. In 1891, a new instrument was built by Joseph Bittner, with fourteen stops, in the old organ case. The instrument had cone chests and pneumatic action. This organ was rebuilt by Siemann in 1921. The current organ has been built by Georg Jann in 1984-1985, with mechanical action. The new organ was dedicated on March 10, 1985.
