Gebaut von: Johann Wilhelm Schöler (1792)
The organ in the church of Klingelbach was built in 1792 by Johann Wilhelm Schöler. It originally had one keyboard with an independent pedal with two stops. In 1885 Heinrich Voigt expanded the organ with an underpositive as second manual. The pedal compass was also increased. The new work was constructed with a cone chest. The prospect pipes were requisitioned in 1917, as was the old Trompete. In 1923 H. Schlosser installed new zinc prospect pipes, and in 1928 a new Trompete. The Wagenbach company altered the disposition in the years 1950/1951. In 1973/1974 the organ was restored by Förster & Nicolaus. The work has been restored in the style of Schöler, but with the retention of the second manual by Voigt and the pedal extensions from 1951.
