Gebaut von: Johann Hoffmann (1717)
The organ of the parish church in Bad Salzig was originally built in the years 1715-1717 by Johann Hoffmann for the Marienberg abbey church of the Benedictes nuns in Boppard. In 1756 the organ was overhauled by the Stumm brothers. In 1802 the abbey closed and the organ was transferred to the Carmelite Church. It was located here until 1904. In that year a new parish church was completed in Bad Salzig, and the organ was transferred to the this building. The Oberlinger company restored the instrument in 1970. It was expanded by them with a second manual inside a swell box.
