- In 1948 Gerard D'Hondt built a new organ for the Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk in Deurne. The organ was built with pneumatic cone chests. The organ was consecrated on April 25, 1948. Edgard De Laet played the inaugurational concert.
- It was transferred to a new church building by the Pels-D'Hondt firm in 1969 and expanded with four stops. The action was also electrified. The main manual has been expanded with three registers, including the Trumpet of the second manual. This was replaced by a Kromhoorn, and the Vox Celestis by a Cymbel. The pedal has been expanded with an Octave 8'.
- The old church building was built in 1924-1925 to a design by Jef Huygh. The building remained standing, but was converted into a gymnasium, used by the Sint Jozef Institute.
- The Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk has been closed after a final celebration on September 4, 2022. It is unknown what will happen to the building and the organ.

- Tom Van den Bouhede
