The organ in the Sint Cornelius Church in Aalter is originally a work by Pieter Van Peteghem from the years 1754-1757. What remains of this organ is the organ case, which stands as a positive for the new organ, and a small part of the pipework. The current instrument was built in 1963-1964 by the Loncke company.
