De South Congregational Church in Boston kreeg in 1864 een nieuw orgel van de gebroeders Hook. In 1868 verving Hook een Nighthorn door een Twelfth en een Montre 8' door een Mixture 5 ranks, en verder werden twee nieuwe stemmen geplaatst. Het orgel is sindsdien niet meer gewijzigd. Het gebouw is in 1887 verkocht en werd een Joodse synagoge. Begin twintigste eeuw is het een Grieks-Orthodoxe kerk geworden. Het orgel verkeerde in 1994 in zeer slechte staat en kon niet meer bespeeld worden.
