An organ was installed in the Cathedral of Mobile, Alabama in 1858 by George Jardine. This organ was lost in a fire in 1954. After restoration of the church, a new organ was built by Wicks Organ Company and was dedicated in 1957. Consultant was Wallace McClanahan. In 2000, the organ's console was renovated by Wicks, and the rest of the instrument by Pipe Organ Specialties.
