The organ was restored in 2006 by the Krawinkel company. The organ, built in 1886, was overhauled by Karl Lötzerich in the 1960s. Parts of the wooden mechanisms have been replaced by aluminum. During the restoration of 2006, the organ was returned to its original state. It was returned to service on December 25, 2006.
