- After the construction of a new church for the parish of Saint-Jacques in Pau, it was decided not to transfer the old organ. It was sold to the parish of St. Mary in Jurançon. Joseph Merklin built a new organ for the new church. The instrument was dedicated on June 7, 1870. Edouard Batiste played the inaugurational concert. The organ had 28 stops on three manuals and pedal. There was a Positif with ten stops, but those were all transmissions of the Grand Orgue.
- Michel Roger overhauled the organ in 1891. In 1898, the action was replaced with pneumatic action by the company Puget. Hereafter maintenance was carried out in 1908 by Maille. An electric wind blower was installed in 1912 by Maurice Puget. In 1926, Puget added a new Gambe 8' to the instrument.
- In 1933-1935 the organ was rebuilt and expanded by Victor Gonzalèz. A new Plein Jeu was installed on the Grand Orgue. The Positif was replaced by an independent division in a Swell Box. André Marchal gave two dedication concerts for the renewed instrument on December 28 and 29, 1935. In 1956 the organ was overhauled by Gonzalez, and the reeds of the Récit were renewed. In 1970 extensive work was carried out by Gonzalèz. The action was rebuilt with mechanical key action and electric stop action.
- The instrument was restored in 1993-1995 by the Manufacture Vosgienne de Grandes Orgues under the supervision of Bernard Dargassie. The Cymbale 3 rangs (Récit) was replaced by a Nazard 2 2/3' and Tierce 1 3/5'.
