Het is opgebouwd uit Engels pijpwerk en Duitse mechanieken en werd uitgevoerd met buizenpneumatiek. Het instrument is in 1994/1995 gerestaureerd door de firma WJ Simon Pierce uit Brisbane onder advies van Kelvin Hastie. Enkele registers zijn toegevoegd, samengesteld uit pijpwerk van het Forster & Andrews-orgel uit 1881 van de University Organ van Sydney.
