  • Andreas Weiß built an organ for the Alte Kapelle in Regensburg in the years 1778-1791 with a beautiful organ case. The organ was rebuilt in 1867 by Johann Anton Breil. But the original instrument did not survive.
  • The company Binder & Siemann installed a new organ in the case in 1899 with 36 stops on two manuals and pedal. This instrument was overhauled by Michael Weise, who replaced four stops. In 1974 the Hirnschrodt company built a new organ with 32 stops behind the front.
  • In 2005/2006, the Mathis company built an organ in the old case, which was entirely designed in the style and according to the descriptions of Weiß. On September 13, 2006, the organ was dedicated by Pope Benedict XVI. The organ is therefore also called Papst-Benedikt-Orgel. Norbert Düchtel played the first organ concert.
