- The neo-Gothic Johanneskirche in Saarbrücken was built in the years 1894-1898 to a design by architect Heinrich Güth. The company H. Voit & Söhne supplied a large two-manual organ with pneumatic action. The organ was damaged during the Second World War. The company Walcker & Cie. carried out a renovation in 1948. The instrument was then maintained until 1962, but it was demolished during a restoration and renovation of the interior of the church.
- In 1969 a new organ from the Kleuker company was dedicated. Consultant was Gunther Hoffmann. During an overhaul after 1990, the organ was equipped with a Setzer installation and electric couplers.
