- In 1772 the Stumm brothers built an organ for the Pfarrkirche in Hillesheim. The organ had one manual and an independent pedal, but it was probably the intention to build a two-manual organ. The organ was modified in 1852, when Christoph Gramer transferred it to a newly built church. The new building was necessary because the tower of the old church collapsed in 1851. The organ case was also damaged as a result.
- A major conversion was done in 1872 by Christian Müller from Reifferscheid. He made a positive organ in de lower case and changed the disposition, making the organ more romantic in character. In 1902 Stumm's Gamba was replaced by a new one. The front pipes had to be removed in in 1917. In 1929 organ builder Franzen from Trier (which one? Nikolaus Franzen had already passed away in 1927!) installed new, zinc, pipes. In the same year, Josef Weimbs replaced the Quinte 2 2/3' and Octave 2' with a Vox Coelestis and an Aeoline.
- Under the advice of Hans Huiverscheidt, the organ was restored by Josef Weimbs in the years 1973-1975. The Hauptwerk was returned to the condition of 1772, but the 1872 positive was maintained. An old early nineteenth-century windchest was used for this.
