- After the Second World War, the Theatinerkirche in Munich was rebuilt in the old style. Karl Schuster installed a two-manual organ in 1950. After the church building was completely completed, a new main organ was built behind the altar by the firm Eisenbarth. This organ got a console with five manuals. The Schuster organ, now called 'Seiten-Orgel', is played from manuals IV and V of the main console.
- In 2009 the organ was restored by Dieter Schingnitz. The disposition has changed somewhat during these activities. At the Hauptwerk, the Gemshorn 8' was replaced by a Gamba 8'. At the Schwellwerk, the Nasard 2 2/3' and the Terzzmbel were replaced by a Schwebung 8' and an Oboe 8'.
