The small church village of Vivenkapelle has a neo-Gothic church, which was inaugurated on September 10, 1867. Louis Hooghuys was commissioned to build a fitting organ in the church. The organ is built in Gothic style and hung as a swallow's nest on the wall of the transept. An unusual construction method for this time. John Sutton from England designed the organ case and shutters. The panels are painted by August Martin. The interior is also built in classical Flemish style and is reminiscent of organs from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
