In 1856 Konstantin's Great Hall was donated by the Prussian King Wilhelm IV to the Evangelical congregation in Trier. They used the building as a church. In the same year the company Ibach from Barmen supplied a three-manual organ with forty stops. It was put into service on September 28, 1856. In 1944/1945 the interior of the church was lost in bombing raids. The Schuke firm built a new organ for the church in 1962. It is placed in a niche in front of a bricked-up window, near the altar.
