- In 1957/1958 bouwde de firma Pels uit Alkmaar een groot orgel voor de nieuwe kathedraal van Manilla op de Filippijnen, toen nog behorend tot het gebied van de Verenigde Staten van Amerika. Het orgel werd in gebruik genomen met een concert door Flor Peeters.
- In 2004-2006 is het orgel gerestaureerd door Diego Cera, omdat het al vele jaren onbespeelbaar was. Het werd weer in gebruik genomen op 1 december 2006.
