The old parish church of Mayrhofen was built in 1740-1741 in Baroque style, preserving the tower and choir of the Gothic church from the early sixteenth century. Due to the growth of the parish, the Baroque part was replaced in 1968-1969 by a new church, designed by Clemens Holzmeister. The Walcker firm built a new organ for the church in 1977, placed on the gallery in two cases on either side of the window, and with a positive in the balustrade. The organ has 21 stops on two manuals and pedal.
