In the years 1889-1891 Louis Debièrre built a new organ for the church of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Port in Nantes. The instrument was dedicated with a concert by Eugène Gigout. In 1920 the Gloton company overhauled the electric part of the organ. In 1929/1930 it was further expanded with a few pedal stops. The organ was re-dedicated on February 2nd, 1930 with a concert by Auguste Fauchard. In 1980 the organ was restored by Jean Renaud. Hereby the stop list was expanded with a few stops. Restoration counselors were Norbert Dufourcq and George Robert.
