The organ of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver was built in 1912 by Kimball. The action was changed in electro-pneumatic in 1923. Small changes followed in the fifties, when a new console was also installed. From 1994 to 1996, the instrument was overhauled and expanded by Morel & Associates under the supervision of Allen Hobbs. On September 15, 1996 the organ was put back into use with a play by Frédéric Desenclos from Paris.
