In March 1854, the new organ of the Temple in Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort was inaugurated. It has since been revised and modified several times. The manual compass of C-f''' does not actually apply to the Récit. Although all keys are present, only the upper octaves from c° are sounded. With the pedal, the highest octave is not speaking, and these keys can only be used by means of a Tirasse. In 1992 the organ was restored by Laurent Plet.
