  • The company Gebr. In 1915 Vermeulen built an organ for the chapel of the Roman Catholic Boys' Orphanage in Amsterdam. This orphanage was located on the Lauriergracht, where it was established in 1686. The building was in use until the end of 1967. In 1954, the Boys Orphanage merged with the Maagdenhuis (Girls Orphanage), and the building was renamed Children's Home Amstelstad. The organ was dedicated on November 28, 1915. It was consecrated by the rector, Mr. L. Speet, and played by Father Caecilianus Huygens on this occasion.
  • After 1968, the buildings were converted into an institution for people with intellectual disabilities under the name Orthopedagogical Center 'De Platanen'. The complex was renovated in 1997 and apartments have been realized. The organ was almost certain demolished in 1968.
