- In 2006 Johan Deblieck built a small continuo organ for Gijs van Schoonhoven, organist in Enschede. The instrument has three stops. There are no stop names, but the stops are all flutes in the pitches 8', 4' and 2'. The organ can be transposed. In 2018 the organ was sold to the congregation of the Adventkerk in Assen.
- In February 2024 it was announced that the Protestant Community in Assen will leave the church.
