  • After the construction of a new church in Oude Wetering in 1966, there was not much money left for an organ. The church building was inaugurated on September 24, 1966 and it was located in the new part of the village called Meerkreuk. On the advice of Bernard Bartelink on behalf of the KKOR, a second-hand instrument was bought, which had been built by the Franssen company. It was built for a monastery chapel of the Sint Willibrordusgesticht in The Hague, but was now installed in the Sint Bernarduskerk in Utrecht. Jos Vermeulen transferred it to Oude Wetering, made a new organ case and changed the action to electro-pneumatic. In December 1967 the instrument was dedicated.
  • On February 9, 1969, the church burned to the ground, and the organ was also completely lost.
