The organ in the Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in Nieuwland was probably built by Johan Frederik Kruse in 1908. The firm Flentrop restored the instrument in 1984. A Cornet was added to the disposition during this restoration. This Cornet came from the organ of the Grote Kerk in Edam and was made by G.F. Jurjaansz in the 19th century. On February 11, 1984 the organ was re-openend with a concert by the consultant, Aart van Beek.
