- The organ in the Saint Calixtus Church in Groenlo has been build in 1926 by Sybrand Adema. It was built for the church of the SS. Nicolaas en Barbara (nicknamed 'De Liefde') in Amsterdam. This church was a design of Pierre Cuypers from 1885. The organ of the former church, built by Hendrik Lindsen in 1850, was transfered to the new church. Adema used some ranks of this organ for the new instrument. The new case was designed and build by Truyens. In 1965 some stops were changed by Hubert Schreurs, supervised by Bernard Bartelink.
- After closure of the church in 1989, the building was demolished in 1990. The organ came in storage at the Adema factory. In 1993 is was rebuild in the original form and with the original stop list in the transept of the Calixtus Church in Groenlo.
- In 2011 a restoration was carried out by Adema. They rebuilt the instrument on the organ gallery at the west side of the nave. The organ was taken in use again at October 14, 2012.
