- The organ in the church of Aerdt was built by Heinrich Haffmanns in the style of Nohlting. Around 1843 he completed the instrument for a parish church in the German town of Dornick. In 1846 he transferred the organ to Aerdt.
- In the 1990s, the instrument was made playable again by a group of volunteers led by Hans Kriek. The organ was restored by Van Vulpen in 2000/2001 and was put back into use on April 21, 2001.
