- The organ of the Reformed Church in Kedichem was originally built in 1735 for an unknown church in the west of the Netherlands, possibly a 'secret' Roman Catholic church. It was transferred in 1794 by Johann Michael Gerstenhauer to the Reformed Lutheran church in Medemblik. It remained here until 1858, after which it was relocated to the Reformed Lutheran Church in Amsterdam by Pieter Flaes.
- The organ stood in the Gereformeerde Kerk in Andijk from 1880, until Jan Proper installed a new organ in this church in 1892. Presumably afterwards, Proper widened the front and moved the console. In later years, Proper moved the organ to an Mission Chapel in Muntendam, where Klaas Doornbos renewed the windchest in 1921. In 1927 it was placed in the de chapel of the Hervormde Evangelisatie (Reformed Mission Church) in Sleen.
- The instrument was used in Sleen until 1976. In that year, an electronic organ was acquired the building, and the old organ remained idle in the church. When the chapel was closed in the late 1980s, the organ was purchased by the Reil company and stored in their workshop.
- In 2003, after a thorough restoration, it could be placed in the Protestant Church in Kedichem. It is the first pipe organ in this church, where a French harmonium was used until 1967 and an electronic organ since 1967. Aart Bergwerff was consultant for the restoration. The purpose was to restore the organ to the situation of 1794. Reil made a new Principal 4' and further missing pipework was supplemented with partly new and partly existing eighteenth century pipework from stock. On November 29, 2003, the organ was put back into use.
