• Eppo Rynco Ottes built an organ with six registers and an attached pedal for the Baptist Church in Roden. The organ was inaugurated on Easter Sunday, March 26, 1967. Ottes was organist of the municipality, and therefore played the new organ himself when it was inaugurated. The wood carving of the front was made by H.J. Etienne from The Hague.
  
• In 1988 the instrument has been overhauled by Sicco Steendam. The mechanics were partially renewed. The existing Roerfluit 4' was altered into a Fluit 8'.
