• The organ of the Adventkerk in Assen was built in 1970 under consultancy of Lambert Erné. The facade is curved so that it follows the curvature of the church wall. The wood carving work is by the Swiss Jeanot Bürgi. It was made from branches that he took from the Rhine. The organ was intonated by Gert van Buuren. The organ was put into use on October 31, 1970. At the time of delivery, both reed stops were not yet placed.
  
• In February 2024 it was announced that the Protestant Community in Assen will leave the church.
