Max Offner, born on October 14, 1880 as the son of the organ maker Johann Offner (1846-1887) took over the workshop of Joseph Mühlhauer in 1916. He had taken over the workshop from Johann Offner in 1887. Max worked as a manager until 1959, after which his cousin Maximilian Heinrich Anton (Augsburg, July 6, 1923) took over. Max Joseph died on July 17, 1961.
