American organ maker James Cameron Taylor was born in Milwaukee on May 25, 1948. He worked for Andover Organ Company, then Ronald Wahl (Appleton). As an independent organ builder he settled in Kaukauna in Wisconsin. He built only a few new organs, and was also mainly active in restoration and maintenance. He passed away in his hometown on June 29, 2022.
